For those traveling from out of town, we recommend flying into Chicago O'Hare airport.

O'Hare is about 30 minutes away from the Armour House venue by car or ride share.

Chicago Midway airport is also an option, although it is further away from the venue location.

There are many hotel and accommodation options both near the venue and in downtown Chicago.

We have reserved a block of rooms for Saturday (July 19th) and Sunday (July 20th), at both the Residence Inn Lake Forest and the Hilton Garden Inn Lake Forest. To book at one of these hotels, refer to the section below. The hotels are a 3 minute drive to the Armour House and we have arranged a complimentary shuttle for those staying at the hotels.

For those planning to stay in downtown Chicago, there are plenty of options. We would recommend staying at an an accommodation in Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Gold Coast, River North, or Loop to enjoy the city. It is about a 40 to 60 min drive from these locations to the Armour House depending on traffic.

For those without a vehicle and planning to take the train to Lake Forest from downtown, we would recommend staying in the West Loop or River North as the Chicago Metra train runs from Union Station to Lake Forest station.

By car

If you're staying at the Residence Inn Lake Forest or the Hilton Garden Inn Lake Forest, there will be a complimentary shuttle taking guests to the Armour House and returning after the reception. More details will be provided closer to the event date.

If you are driving, there is complimentary self-parking at the Armour House. There will be directional signage provided when you arrive. Please note parking on the lawns of Lake Forest Academy is prohibited.

By public transport

If traveling by train, you have two options: the Chicago Metra Milwaukee District North (MD-N) Line or the Union Pacific North (UP-N) Line, both of which stop in Lake Forest—though at separate stations.

The MD-N Line departs from Union Station in downtown Chicago.

The UP-N Line departs from Ogilvie Transportation Center (OTC) in downtown Chicago.

Both trains take approximately one hour to reach Lake Forest.

From either Lake Forest station, it's about a 10-minute Uber or taxi ride to the Armour House.
